Biography

Born and raised in Thailand, my love of painting started at an early age.

I was fortunate to live in a world where Eastern mythology, Buddhism and its gentle beliefs were intertwined with fairy tales from the West – all paramount in moulding my life and my views on life.

My fairy and fantasy work has been inspired through the years by Cicely Barker's delightful Flower-Fairy illustrations through to Brian Froud, Linda Ravenscroft and Vallejo and Bell, to name a few.

My paintings range from the intricate through to the more whimsical side of fairy and each piece is embellished in some way with semi-precious stones, glass baubles and whatever takes my fancy.

I use a variety of media when painting, depending on how I feel on the day and what I feel each painting needs – these vary from watercolour, acrylics, watercolour pencils, colour pencils and inks.
