Flights of Cranes

In this painting I seek to portray the metamorphosis of the cranes from being origami to being living cranes. The mystical origami angel has the power and magic to turn her paper creations into real life beings. The "skeleton" for the background was done via vectors at first for a clean architectural look, then textured.
